Woolaston Amateur Garden Society
WAGS initially approached me looking for a simple vinyl banner, but following some deeper conversations it emerged that their wider goal was to attract a younger audience and establish a greater awareness of the society itself. Therefore we embarked on a brand identity project followed by developing their social presence and other collateral.
Previously, the society had been somewhat underselling themselves in their approach to self-promotion. Boasting some impressive attributes and associations with well-regarded names and establishments, WAGS could afford to be a little bolder, brighter, and much more confident!

 - Collateral rollout
 - Branding

With a merging of bolder, graphic forms and soft organic touches, the logo feels contemporary, clean, and approachable, while the serifs and subtle flared forms nod to more traditional type and block-printing techniques.
To encompass all audiences, it was important to give a nod to the path previously trodden, but with a view to the future landscape.

One of the most crucial elements of this project was to craft a system that the society would be confident in using, without specialist software or know-how. Templates and guidelines were developed to ensure the committee members had a balance of freedom and boundaries to show off the society in the best light.

"Clare completely refreshed every part of our brand identity and brought a whole new energy to how we present ourselves.
Clare was the creative force behind it all, and thanks to her vision and expertise, our brand now looks and feels better than ever. She’s done an amazing job, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.One of the biggest wins for us was how she helped us make the leap onto social media in a way that really connects with a new audience—something that was really important to us from the start. Her enthusiasm and insight made all the difference."
